HEROES EXHIBITION AT ROOM 237
Exciting news. Myself, Ooh la lapin and artist Lee Casey are creating and hosting an exhibition. The theme is heroes, as a cheeky nod to the wonderful hosts at ROOM 237 on Elm Grove. We are all creating completely new work for this event. Anyhow all you need to know is that the preview night is Wednesday 7th March, 7pm until 10pm. Art, Music courtesy of C.O.R and GOOD TIMES! If your lucky you might snap up some food and drink donated by Fezziwigs! GET INVOLVED X

Time Is Golden
So i got commissioned to create a work as a surprise present to celebrate some oldskool family friends Sylv and Johnny's 50th wedding Anniversary. Hope they like when it arrives in Malta and enjoy many more years together! They have a strong history associated with both Malta and Pompey. I was originally thinking about referencing both places with images/items representing both places within the image. However I decided that focusing around the time, love and colour pallette of gold gave a far more meaningful image. It is after all about celebrating their time together. Absolute legends x

Stuck for ideas?
I was a bit stuck for gift ideas this year, until I found these discarded shopping list from some unwitting pompey residents at ASDA. Hopefully I will find some more over the festive season. Happy Holidays
"How to treat a Lady"
For the female in your life. Who wouldnt be happy with some PJs, an Itunes voucher, perfume and a set from boots, all topped off with an evening in your new sexy underwear and button mushrooms......
"How to treat a Lad"
For the man in your life. For more fun than you can shake a festive stick at this year, get your man four types of publication including "take a breack", the stimulant drink known as "coffeee" finished off with a smoke of tocco and a chicken and bacon salad.

Lets take a walk...
Lets take a walk,
Hold hands,
Swing from crooked branches.
Shake crumbs,
From a blanket made for
Picnics.
Fall asleep long before the embers,
As the day lingers,
With the ash
upon my cigarette.

Just a couple of pieces I made today whilst I have been signed off work. Made from some scribbles in my sketchbooks and leftovers upon my desk. Oh and the cool leaf I found by my shoe....

"Brothers" illustrated poetry
"Brothers" Is a poem created over many years by my friend (and poet) Markus Lloyd. As a little collaboration I have begun to illustrate said poem.
They will both be available as a signed limited run print at the Aspex gallery affordable art fair in september.
These prints and initial creations are just the beginnings of a larger project and collaboration to illustrate the entire poem.
I have used various found textures and ephemera, alongside my own hand drawn images. i have also included the original section of poetry relative to each image.
I hope you enjoy x

NEW WALLS at the one eyed dog design
So this is the new poster design I have created for the next "NEW WALLS" event at the one eyed dog.
The original is completely hand drawn, A3 size and took about ten hours and a whole biro to complete. It will be AVAILABLE as a LIMITED RUN PRINT early september.
it will either be called "Biro's are shit hot, but Southsea's better" or "Southsea still rocks and not a fixie in sight". Haven't decided yet.
